Brandy Melville = New Favourite Shop??

Hello! Hope you are having a lovely day!

So when I was in London a couple of weeks ago for my birthday I went into a Brandy Melville shop for the first time and I thought I would share my experience with my lovely readers. I visited the Brandy Melville in Covent Garden London but there are also some more in London dotted around such as Kings Road in Chelsea. I know Brandy Melville is very popular in America however it’s rare to find the shop in England.

When I walked into the store I felt like I was in my clothes heaven, everything they sell is such my style and I could buy everything if I had the money. I chose some items to try on and ended up buying two t-shirts which are definitely my favourite t-shirts in my wardrobe currently. The weird thing that makes Brandy Melville so special is that pretty much everything they sell is ‘one size’ but luckily most things seemed to fit me perfectly!

I would highly recommend going into a Brandy Melville if you happen to be in London as they sell such amazing cheap quality clothes and this shop may have become my new favourite!!

Spring Fashion Haul / Topshop, Primark and Hollister

Hi guys!

So recently I went on a mini shopping trip and actually bought some new clothes which I haven’t done in a while! The shops have some really cute pieces at the moment especially with festival season fast approaching!

I firstly went into Topshop as they had a 20% off student discount promotion which was only happening for a couple of days so I thought I would take advantage of that! The first thing I bought is this black lace crop top which cost £22. I loved how this looked on me however I’m still unsure of how I can pull it off without it looking too “slutty”. I might change my mind and take it back if I can’t find anything to pair it with but I do think it’s a lovely crop top.

The next thing I bought was this black wrap bodycon skirt which was also from Topshop and costs £18. I have actually been looking for a nice plain black skirt that actually fitted me for a while so I’m pleased I found a good quality one in Topshop. I love the fact that I can dress it up for a party but then also wear it during the day.

I also bought this white lace bodycon dress from Topshop which I absolutely love! This dress costs £39 which is a reasonable price for something this quality. I fell in love with this dress when I tried it on as it was sooo flattering. I think they also have this dress in a red colour too but I like the white one as it looks more summery.

I also went to Primark and found this lovely black bomber jacket! I have been wanting a black bomber jacket for a while and I am so happy that I have finally found the perfect one! The best bit was that it only costs £15! I know I will get a lot of wear out of it too 🙂

Lastly I went into Hollister as I have heard they had some pretty pieces in their shop at the moment so I went to have a look for myself. I found this lovely crop top with some detailing on the front which is very flattering. I love the pattern on this and I know this top would go amazingly with a pair of denim shorts in the summer! This crop top costs £14.

So this was everything that I bought! I hope you enjoyed reading this and has made you want to splurge out on some new clothes haha!

Tie Dying a T-Shirt for Summer!

Hello Everyone,

I am back with another post which is quite exciting! I love to make my own t-shirts by using transfer paper so I thought I would try tie dying a t-shirt as it was very popular last year. I bought all the equipment last year but didn’t get chance to do it so I thought I would do it yesterday. So here is how I tie dyed a t-shirt!

First of all you need all the equipment which includes:

  • Plain White T-Shirt – You can buy plain t-shirts from almost any fashion stores but I bought mine on eBay as it was cheaper.
  • Dylon Fabric Dyes – I used Flamingo Pink and Bahama Blue but you can use any colours of your choice. Choose a minimum of two colours.
  • Dylon Salt
  • Two 250ml bottles
  • Rubber Gloves
  • Thick Elastic Bands

Firstly, you need to either wash your t-shirt and leave damp or spray the dry t-shirt with water so it becomes damp. This ensures that the colour will absorb well. Next you want to lay your t-shirt out on a carrier bag and pinch the middle and swirl it to the right to make it look like a cinnamon bun, making sure all the layers are visible. Now you wan to put the elastic bands around the bun so they all cross in the centre.

Now you need to prepare the dyes. Fill each 250ml bottles (I used old water bottles) with warm water and mix it up with 1 teaspoon of dye and 1 tablespoon of salt. Do this for both bottles. Put on the rubber gloves and squirt the dyes on alternate sections of the t-shirt cinnamon bun so its all colourful and then turn it over and repeat on the reverse side.

Wrap the t-shirt in cling film and put in a plastic bag and leave overnight. The next day, undo the elastic bands and rinse under cold water until the water runs clear then throw it in the washing machine on its own. Ta Dah! Now you have a great tie dyed t-shirt! Please also note that they do fade.

I love how my t-shirt came out!

Spring Haul

I hope you have had a good Sunday! I have school tomorrow so wish me luck! 😦

Just to let you know that I love shopping a lot so when I went to Westfield with my friend I did some damage to my bank account! As I bought some things I thought I would share them with you! I love reading fashion hauls on blogs and watching YouTube video hauls so I thought I would try it for myself!

The first thing I bought are the Topshop Black Ripped Joni Jeans. I have wanted these jeans for a while so I finally bought them. Topshop’s Joni jeans are the most comfy jeans I have ever worn and I will defiantly purchase more Joni jeans in the future. Although I have seen a lot of people with these jeans, I do think they are worth buying as they can look amazing with any outfit. These jeans cost £38.00.

The next thing I bought was also from Topshop and it was a white t-shirt with a deer/bambi coming out of the pocket. I thought this t-shirt was so cute and I think it will look really nice in the summer with some denim shorts! They also do the same top with a pug coming out of the pocket which I also liked but I preferred this one a little more. This t-shirt costs £22.

The next thing I bought was the Rimmel London Rita Ora Nail Varnish in the shade ‘Go Wild-er-ness’. I love the packaging of this nail varnish as I love daisies! I love this shade of purple and I adore Rita Ora’s new range and I had to stop myself buying the whole collection haha! The nail vanishes only cost £2.99 which is a bargain!

This is my favourite item that I bought on my shopping trip! I bought this yellow jacket with a striped inside from American Eagle Outfitters. I had never been in American Eagle Outfitters before and luckily my friend dragged me in and I spotted this jacket! I have seen this type of jacket before but I didn’t think that I could pull it off. I had actually seen Zoella wear a very similar jacket to this and Zoella is my style icon! I am so happy with this purchase and I forgot to mention that the jacket had 50% off so it was super cheap and I am now super happy!!

The last thing in my haul is from Tiger and it is a lipstick storage holder. I have been looking for a cheap lipstick storage holder for a while and when I saw this in Tiger for only £3 I couldn’t resist! I don’t have very many lip products but I think a storage holder was a good idea as I can see clearly what products I do have.

If you would like to see a spring clothing lookbook from me then comment down below and I can try and do one for you 🙂
